Ross Power believes Qatar to be the ideal Focus sponsor, thereby naming the fully realized project "QATAR’S FOCUS ON THE OCEAN". Mr. Power sees that Qatar has the innovative spirit and humanitarian compassion to understand that we must focus on the ocean in order to have a sustainable environment for our future generation’s fulfillment.
This $14 million project includes the edition of seven 2.45 Meters X 4.27 Meters stainless steel FOCUS sculptures delivered and permanently installed on the ocean floor in all seven global locations. The final locations will be determined by Qatar’s Royal Family. "QATAR’S FOCUS ON THE OCEAN" assures the name recognition for Qatar in all locations around the world. It shows Qatar as a supporter of the arts, having an environmental conscience and a love for the sea and the people that it touches.
Qatar's name will be heralded in all film documentaries, internet sites, table top books, news print, magazines, as well as television and radio coverage for years to come. Qatar will enjoy the sustainable ecotourism as well as sustainable media coverage that will continually return to this unique living project: “Qatar's gift to the world”
